Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team.

We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators, and coach body repairs. Someone passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful RV Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. If you have experience in any or all of these fields: Plumbing, Carpentry, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, RV Service, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

1. Provide and document diagnostic tests and repair or replacement services to customers.
2. Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance maintenance.
3. Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
4. Keep supervisor informed of work progress.
5. Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
6. Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

What You'll Need

1. Certification from college or technical school in trade fields (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is helpful but applicable work experience is also considered.
2. Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
3. RVIA certification is helpful but not required.
4. Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to electrical and welding equipment.
5. Possible environmental exposure: heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, wetness.
6. Prolonged standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
7. Must furnish own hand/shop tools.
8. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
9. Valid driver's license.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this role considers factors like skill sets, experience, certifications, and organizational needs. The estimated range is $22.00-$40.00 per hour.
