Job summary

Cleo Bay Honda in Killeen, TX is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, from engine to electrical and air conditioning. You will work closely with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed and complete repairs efficiently.

The position requires a strong automotive background, ASE certifications preferred, and willingness to undergo drug screening and a background check; a valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
