Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, start up, and service equipment.
• Conduct hands-on training for customer teams.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.
• Conduct hands-on training for customer teams on equipment use and safety.
• Collaborate with engineers on control systems and operational software during startups.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support.
• Identify and recommend spare parts or upgrades while on-site to support long-term machine performance.
• Assist in aftermarket sales by suggesting appropriate parts or services based on customer needs during service visits.
• Complete service reports and customer follow-ups from our Kent, OH office when not traveling.

Rotoline USA, a leader in rotational molding equipment with over 25 years in the industry, is looking for a Service Technician to join our U.S. service and support team.

This is a field-based, high-travel role ideal for someone with a mechanical background and strong communication skills. You’ll lead equipment installations, support startups, and deliver excellent service across North America and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install, start up, and service rotational molding equipment
• Coordinate equipment arrival, layout, and oversee installation (customer provides crew)
• Manage and guide customer personnel during setup (you’re a supervisor, not the installer)
• Conduct hands‑on training for customer teams on equipment use and safety
• Collaborate with engineers on control systems and operational software during startups
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support
• Identify and recommend spare parts or upgrades while on‑site to support long‑term machine performance
• Assist in aftermarket sales by suggesting appropriate parts or services based on customer needs during service visits
