Reporting to our Service Director, the KIA Service Technician will be responsible for the efficient and accurate servicing of customer vehicles, including diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles entering the service department. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer experience. Import knowledge is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and special equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
• Provide estimates for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of KIA or import Service Technician experience required
• ASE Certification required
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair qualifications preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
