Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing security team with the largest privately owned security integrator in the world.

Base Pay Range

$28.00/hr - $35.00/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment, including security, fire alarm and life safety, and/or building automation, with guidance as needed.
• Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications.
• Operates systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions. Writes routine programs for systems.
• Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times.
• Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.
• Executes many of the technical aspects of multiple projects with varying timelines and budgets, including programming, graphics development, start-up, certification testing, customer training, close-out documentation, ongoing technical support, etc.
• Works closely with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager and assists in the overall coordination of specific projects.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

This is a direct hire position. This position is on-site every day; you will be in the office in Noblesville/Indianapolis OR Fort Wayne/South Bend, IN. This team does cover the whole state of Indiana. Depending on where you live this team will try to keep you within a 1-2 hour commute time. You will be at customer sites 5 days a week. There is very little to no overnight travel.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 2+ years of servicing experience with Access control, Intrusion, CCTV, etc.
• Experience with programming one or more of the following; (Lenel, Genetec, Software house, Bosch, Avigilon, DMP etc.)
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent personality & communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office application.
• Valid driver's license.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorships are not available.
