SUMMARY:
The Modification Technician is responsible for performing crane modifications for customers and distributors. This position is based remotely, but heavy domestic travel is involved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical diploma from college or technical school or equivalent alternative education/experience with 6-8+ years of experience. Relevant technical certificate is a plus. Mechanical and electrical skills. Proven knowledge of electrical systems including LIN, CAN, 12v and 24v systems. Ability to diagnose problems with equipment. Proficient with the use of mechanical and electrical diagnosing equipment to perform service work. Ability to read and interpret electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic schemes. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Ability to communicate technical errors to non-technical people. Ability to travel and work according to a changing schedule.
