Job summary

Cougar USA is seeking a detail-oriented Tank Assembly Technician to join our Field Service team. You will assemble, inspect, and prepare custom tanks to meet production and quality standards, working closely with production and engineering to ensure timely and efficient workflows.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical drawings, use hand and power tools, and lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in mechanical assembly or related fields is a plus.
• OSHA-30 Certification required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Tank Assembly: Assemble and configure tanks according to detailed production drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Component Installation: Install fittings, valves, gauges, and other components onto tanks, ensuring proper placement and functionality.
• Inspection & Testing: Conduct inspections and functional tests on assembled tanks to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and inventory usage.
• Material Handling: Safely handle materials and components, including organizing and maintaining workstations and tools.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production and engineering teams to address issues and maintain production schedules.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in assembly processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tank Assembly Technician to join our Field Service team! This role is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing custom tanks to meet production and quality standards.
