Job summary

Hinderer Motor Company in Heath, OH is seeking an experienced Honda Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems. You will support the service department by performing repairs to manufacturer specifications, communicating with service advisors, and ensuring a professional service experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• ASE Certification required.
• B-level qualifications preferred, including Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination for mechanical work.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to complete a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and air conditioning.
• Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic tools to identify service needs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional service or repair recommendations.
• Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with teammates to support overall department productivity and quality.
• Continuously learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications.

Job Summary:
