Job summary

Hiley Mazda of Hurst is looking for a skilled Service Technician with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have factory certification and A-level qualifications in diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.

In this position, you will perform repairs efficiently, test-drive and diagnose vehicles, and provide updates to customers about their vehicles' service. Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are essential to succeed in our dynamic work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Factory certification preferred.
• A-level qualifications needed for Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently.
• Test-drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor for customer updates.
• Provide estimates for additional repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• Factory certification preferred
