Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking a Service Technician to maintain apartment communities by diagnosing and repairing HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues. You will ensure facilities meet company standards and applicable laws while providing clear communication to residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have a valid drivers license and a vehicle, and HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred. About one year of related experience or education is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver7s license required or preferred.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred.
• Around 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards and laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate repairs and updates clearly with residents and office staff.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a \"Whatever It Takes\" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this (unit count and apartment community name(s) meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As The Service Technician, You Will Help To

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/ hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
• 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match
• Generous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leave

Hours & Schedule

• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You
