Job summary

Morgan Properties in Absecon, NJ is hiring a Service Technician to maintain apartment community facilities and address maintenance requests with a “Whatever It Takes” approach. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing issues and ensure interior and exterior areas meet company standards and applicable laws.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and vehicle; HVAC/EPA/CFC certification is preferred, with a minimum of one year related experience.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

We are seeking a Service Technician with a \"Whatever It Takes\" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this community meet both company standards and applicable laws.

As the Service Technician, you will help to:

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $18.00 – $23.00/hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
