Job summary

Bobby's Auto Service Center, Inc. in Hayes, VA is seeking an Automotive Service Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of domestic and foreign vehicles. You will work in a team‑oriented shop that values quality workmanship and customer trust.

The role involves performing diagnostics, oil changes, tire rotations, brake and suspension repairs, and using scan tools to troubleshoot complex issues. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Able to diagnose and repair domestic and/or foreign vehicles.
• ASE certification(s) preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections to identify mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
• Carry out routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Complete brake, suspension, and steering system repairs.
• Conduct engine and drivetrain repairs as needed.
• Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document all services performed and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Maintain punctuality
