Job summary

Bobby's Auto Service Center in Hayes, VA is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to keep customers on the road, in a fast-paced shop that values quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician or mechanic required.
• Proficient diagnosing domestic and/or foreign vehicles.
• ASE certification(s) preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections to identify mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
• Carry out routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Complete brake, suspension, and steering system repairs.
• Conduct engine and drivetrain repairs as needed.
• Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Document all services performed and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Maintain punctuality.
