Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot service issues, including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, while delivering outstanding resident service. You will maintain interiors and exteriors to company standards and respond to maintenance tickets with urgency and professionalism.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle, and the ability to live within a 30‑minute commute.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas to company standards and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service tickets and communicate updates clearly to residents and staff.

As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:

• Be responsible fortrouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events
