Job summary

Pavion seeks a talented service technician to join the security business unit. The role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling and devices, as well as implementing fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and security systems across various projects.

You will read drawings and project docs, ensure compliance with NEC and local codes, and maintain a safe, organized site while communicating clearly with supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Honeywell Notifier and/or Siemens Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years experience servicing fire and security; Must have 1 year experience in the construction industry.
• Pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to use power tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling and devices
• Perform installations of fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and security systems

Basic Qualifications:

The salary range for this position is $25.00–$45.00 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
