Job summary

Pavion Corp in Greenville, Texas seeks an Installation Technician to install, configure, and service security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion. You will coordinate with project managers and customers on-site, perform wiring and testing, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong ability to read blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
• Background clearance for secure facilities may be required.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Installation Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality in all assigned tasks.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Serve as the main point of contact for field communication with project managers and customers
• Complete field wiring, terminations, and testing in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot headend equipment, ensuring seamless integration with field components.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and customer site requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in installation and/or service of security and low-voltage systems.
• Expertise with field wiring, terminations, and headend equipment setup.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work from blueprints or wiring diagrams.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-security environments. Must possess or be able to obtain necessary background clearances for secure facilities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must possess OSHA 10 or 30

The hourly pay range for this position is $30-35 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
