LIVunLtd is seeking a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to join our growing team and cover the Greater Fort Lauderdale area in FL. You will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and acting as the LIVunLtd brand ambassador.

Training is provided for apprentices, with paid training offered. Essential duties include traveling to client sites, inspecting and testing equipment, preparing repair quotes, and completing repairs

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move fitness equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and clear an MVR Check.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations and perform on-site service calls.
• Inspect, calibrate, and test fitness equipment during service visits.
• Evaluate equipment for repair and prepare parts list and labor estimates for quotes.
• Complete repairs and test equipment to ensure full working order.
• Provide clear scheduling communications and updates to customers.
• Identify additional revenue opportunities from service/warranty work and PM contracts.
• Identify opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment or fitness accessories.
• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and proper inventory levels.

LIVunLtd islooking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to joinour growingteam and work throughout the Greater Fort Lauderdale, FL area.

As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.

We also hire for our technician apprentice program in all of our service areas. We encourage all mechanically inclined individuals with or without experience in the service and repair industry to apply. Paid training is provided.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations
• Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customer
• Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
• Provide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipment
• Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
• Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
• Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
• Follow with Company Uniform Policy

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs

COMPENSATION

The Service Technician / Apprentice position with LIVunLtdpays$20-$25/hr based on experience and location of service.All of ourService Technicians are also eligible for acompetitive performance basedbonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
