Job summary

LIVunLtd is seeking a Service Technician / Apprentice to join our team and travel throughout South Carolina. You will diagnose, service, repair and maintain fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and acting as a professional representative of LIVunLtd.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performing visits, documenting quotes, and seeking additional revenue through service, warranty, PM contracts, and upsell of equipment and accessories.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift/move fitness equipment & parts up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance and clear an MVR Check.
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft OS, iPad, wifi, email and cell phone technology.

• Travel to client locations
• Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits
• Evaluate equipment for repair; prepare parts list and labor estimates for a repair quote to be provided to customer
• Complete repairs with parts ordered; test that machine is back in full working order
• Provide communication to customer both in scheduling times to come out and what is going on with their equipment
• Look for additional opportunities for revenue from service/warranty work and PM contracts on additional machines
• Look for additional opportunities for incremental revenue for new equipment and/or fitness accessories

LIVunLtd is looking for a Service Technician and/or Service Apprentice to join our team and work throughout the state of South Carolina. At LIVunLtd, Service Technicians are leaders in the fitness industry and part of a skilled team of individuals who are in control of their advancement through our technician career path and other career opportunities throughout the company. As a Service Technician, you are responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering world-class customer service and being a professional representative of LIVunLtd. Successful candidates must be able to manage a schedule full of jobs for a variety of demanding customers. You are the face of LIVunLtd; we need the best.

Essential Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations
• Inspect, calibrate, and clean and test fitness equipment during Service Contract visits

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times
• Maintain proper inventory levels and count accuracy at all times
• Complete vehicle maintenance needs as directed by the fleet operations manager
• Follow with Company Uniform Policy

Compensation

The Service Technician / Apprentice position with LIVunLtd pays $18-$24/hr based on experience and location of service. All of our Service Technicians are also eligible for a competitive performance based bonus program. More detailed information on our bonus incentive program is shared as part of the interview process.
