Job summary

Burlington CDJR in Burlington, NJ is seeking an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will perform routine maintenance, adapt to new technologies, and document work accurately while collaborating with a team in a fast-paced dealership environment.

ASE certification is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license and a focus on safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have automotive service experience or as a mechanic.
• ASE cert preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and software.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles per manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, rotations, brake inspections).
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide repair recommendations.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete and document repair orders accurately.
• Collaborate with service team for timely service.
• Engage in ongoing training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and service techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
