Job summary

Burlington Chevrolet in Burlington, NJ is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You’ll perform routine maintenance, use advanced diagnostic tools, and document work while collaborating with the service team to ensure timely service for customers.

Avalid driver's license with a clean record is required along with a high school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification is a plus and ongoing training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service technician experience required.
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.
• Inspect vehicles and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete repair orders accurately and document all work.
• Collaborate with the service team for timely service delivery.
• Stay updated on automotive technology through training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety protocols.
