Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring Service Technicians to ensure the physical aspects of our communities meet company standards and laws. You will troubleshoot HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing, while maintaining safe, welcoming properties for residents and teammates.

The role requires a valid driver’s license with a personal vehicle, on-call availability, and a collaborative approach to respond to service requests efficiently. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• HVAC, EPA, or CFC certification preferred.
• One year of related experience or an equivalent education/experience combo.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot service issues including HVAC, appliances, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interiors and exteriors to company standards and legal requirements.
• Respond to maintenance service tickets promptly and efficiently.
• Communicate repairs and updates clearly with residents and staff.

We are seeking a Service Technician with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of this community meet both company standards and applicable laws. Our ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, approaches each day with enthusiasm, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for community for residents and teammates alike.

As The Service Technician, You Will Help To

• Be responsible for trouble-shooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliance, carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday: 8:00AM-4:30PM

Paid rotating on-call participation required

Must be available and prepared for emergency events

• Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What We’ll Expect From You
