Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring Service Technicians for a 359-unit apartment community. In this full-time role, you'll ensure the physical aspects of the community meet standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements.

Base pay is $19.50 to $22.50 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and a 50% rent discount. On-call pay $15/day and holidays are included. Join our team to help maintain and improve the property.

Qualifications

• Active, valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred but not required.
• One year of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep
• Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance
• Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates.

Compensation & Incentives

As The Service Technician, You Will

• Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs

Hours & Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
