Job summary

Volkswagen of Corpus Christi is seeking experienced technicians for a fast-paced service department in Corpus Christi, TX. Qualified candidates can earn up to $40 per hour, with relocation assistance available for qualifying applicants.

The team welcomes technicians with ASE certifications, a strong automotive background, and a proven ability to work well in a collaborative environment. A drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Must submit to drug screen & background check.
• Clean & valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
