Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family property maintenance preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in service maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to read and write English.
• HVAC certification required.
• Able to climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must own required tools.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
• Knowledge of property operations, safety, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and fireplaces.
• Plumbing and Electrical: 2+ years with troubleshooting/repairing.
• Appliance repair: 2+ years with troubleshooting/repairing.

Responsibilities

• Assume emergency on-call duties.
• Report any needed repairs or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
• Inspect move-outs daily and update move-in dates daily.
• Attend instructional classes conducted by the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

• Must have multi-family experience
• A minimum of 2-year work experience in the service maintenance field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and write English
• HVAC certification is required
• The ability to display balance/equilibrium at heights above 5 feet and lift 50 pounds is essential
• Must own required tools
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Working knowledge of general property operations, safety, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and fireplaces is essential
