Job summary

TriBridge Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Service Technician for Mountain Creek in Waynesville, NC. The role requires multi-family experience and HVAC certification, along with at least two years in service maintenance, to perform plumbing, electrical, appliance and fireplace repairs.

You will handle on-call emergencies, report safety concerns, inspect move-outs, and participate in trainings with the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in service maintenance
• HVAC certification required
• Able to read and write English
• Must own required tools
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Criminal background check and drug screen required
• Knowledge of general property operations, safety, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair and fireplaces
• Plumbing and electrical experience minimum 2 years
• Appliance repair experience minimum 2 years
• Must have multi-family experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights above 5 feet

Responsibilities

• Assume emergency on-call duties
• Report any needed repairs or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager
• Inspect move-outs daily and update move-in dates daily
• Attend all instructional classes conducted by the Maintenance Manager

Requirements:

• Must have multi-family experience
• A minimum of 2-year work experience in the service maintenance field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and write English
• HVAC certification is required
• The ability to display balance/equilibrium at heights above 5 feet and lift 50 pounds is essential
• Must own required tools
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Working knowledge of general property operations, safety, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and fireplaces is essential
