Job summary

Fox Factory is seeking a maintenance/service technician to perform a wide range of upkeep and repair tasks on our products and equipment.

You will evaluate products for maintenance, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues. Prioritize customer satisfaction and accurate reporting of service activities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some technical education or certification is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and analytical capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and service tasks to install, repair, and upgrade equipment.
• Evaluate products for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and related purposes.
• Remove, install, diagnose, repair, disassemble, and reassemble parts and components.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues and improve processes.
• May train service staff and demonstrate equipment to customers as needed.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services.
• Prepare maintenance records, warranty contracts, and installation reports for management.
• Respond to customer concerns promptly to meet service and sales goals.

Position Summary:

Performs a wide range of maintenance and service tasks including installs and repairs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and service tasks.
• Evaluate products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes.
• Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembling parts and components
• Collaborate closely with technical team to resolve technical issues.
• May provide training to service staff on how to identify and resolve issues, repairs, etc.
• Understand customer requirements and accordingly recommend the right products or services.
• May conduct client demonstration when required.
• Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses.
• May provide training to customers about product usage and maintenance.
• Support the field staff in equipment set‑up for trade shows or exhibitions.
• Prepare creative product presentations for sales meetings or trainings.
• Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services.
• Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty contracts, installation report and other service reports to the senior managers.
• Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively to meet sales goals.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong analytical skills

Position Qualifications:

Education:

• HS diploma or equivalentrequired
• Some technical education or certification(s) preferred

Experience:

• 2+ years of related experience preferred, preferably in a sport vehicle related industry

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
