Job summary

OneWall Communities is seeking an experienced Service Technician with HVAC expertise to support day-to-day maintenance across our Baltimore area communities. You will perform general maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, basic carpentry, heating and cooling tasks, and renovations as needed.

You will communicate with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors to ensure timely service, safety, and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• At least 1 year of general maintenance experience; construction, plumbing or electrical is preferred.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed.
• English reading/writing/speaking sufficient for resident communication and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed accurately and promptly.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair plumbing and electrical systems, including parts replacement.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading/storing supplies, ensuring safety.

We are looking for an experience Service Technician with HVAC experience who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and “make ready” renovations.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.

Here Is What You’ll Have

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).
