Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to service and install coffee equipment at customer sites across the region. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and delivering reliable support to businesses.

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled service calls, instruct customers, complete paperwork, manage parts inventory, and assist with deliveries as needed. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required; prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service on coffee brewing equipment at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on proper use of coffee equipment and relay inquiries to staff.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain parts inventory for the service vehicle and monthly inventory.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare service orders and inventory records per policy.
• Ensure service vehicle maintenance and valid driver's license.
• Occasionally assume route driver duties or other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts.

What You'll Be Doing – The Role

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
