Job summary

Allegion US is seeking a Service Technician for Stanley Access Technologies in Vallejo, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, ensuring access systems operate safely and reliably in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to interact with customers and support contract retention.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and relevant credentials. Training is provided for specialized tasks and door systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field preferred.
• AAADM Certification or equivalent certification is a plus, with training provided if needed.

• Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on equipment/systems under contract by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating to ensure proper operation.
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology.

What You Will Do:

• Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment to ensure it’s in satisfactory working order
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions

In addition, you ideally bring to the table but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!

• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation:

• Pay range from $30-35/hr
• The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
