Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations, adjustments, and repairs on Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems of limited scope and complexity, escalating more difficult repairs to experienced technicians.
- Execute customer service assignments with defined objectives, even when repetitive, while maintaining high service quality.
- Clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions within your area of expertise, supporting field staff and customers.
- Contribute consistently to team and service center delivery goals and adhere to established production processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction, using verbal or written correspondence as appropriate.
- Exercise good discretion in the use of time and Keysight resources, maximizing existing assets and multitasking efficiently.
- Maintain high workmanship standards, promote ESD, Service Note compliance, and minimize re‑repair.
- Ensure compliance with ESD protocol and connector care requirements.
Qualifications
- Specialized training or certification in electronics (preferably an Associate’s degree in the field) or applicable military experience.
- Experience calibrating and repairing diverse Keysight equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, sampling scopes, active and passive probes, signal generators, network analyzers, power supplies, power sensors, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other equipment with ranges up to 67GHz.
- 5+ years of related experience in calibration and repair of electronic test equipment (preferred).
- Demonstrated electronic and mechanical competence.
- Ability to operate within established production processes and achieve team production goals.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to initiate and sustain customer interaction and to document issues verbally or in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of people.
- Adherence to the highest standards of business ethics.
Compensation
California pay range:USD52,190.00–USD86,980.00peryear.For other locations, pay ranges vary by region.
