Job summary

Keysight is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate and adjust electronic test equipment in a fast-paced calibration lab. You will use test automation platforms and perform manual calibrations, with focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You should have 3–5 years of calibration experience, strong Windows/MS Office skills, and willingness to learn new technologies. This role offers stable growth within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years directly related experience in calibration for entry to this level.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook.
• Learn new, emerging technologies rapidly and implement them in calibration work.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and perform adjustments on company and multi-vendor electronic measurement and test equipment.
• Use test automation platforms and software to perform calibrations.
• Perform manual calibration procedures on measurement and test equipment.
• Solve problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of calibration, metrology principles, and preventative maintenance techniques.
• Recommend corrective actions resulting in solutions that are cost effective and enhance the process.
• Use software skills and/or technical ability to fix, enhance or develop calibration procedures.
• Ensure that all changes are approved and documented appropriately.
• Use daily work schedules to factor volume, priority, customer expectations, and service center goals.
• Maximize the use of existing assets, multi-task effectively and ensure resources are used properly.
• Maintain high workmanship standards, take ownership of commitments and deliver on them.
• Provide consistent, solid contribution to team and service center delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Typically 3-5 years directly related experience in calibration for entry to this level.
• Solid working knowledge of Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide constructive dialogue with respect to business strategies, direction and policies. Understand the service business and remain flexible to changing business needs.
• Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
• Learn new, emerging technologies rapidly. Quickly become proficient in calibration support and adjustment as new products are introduced. Takes initiative and seeks to expand overall education/experience level.

Pay Range

USD $73,580.00 - USD $122,630.00 Year
