Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Amarillo, TX is hiring a Service Helper to work outdoors on commercial roofs with our Foreman. You will assist with ladder setup, basic roof tasks, and learn different roofing techniques.

This entry-level role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, passing a background and drug screen, and being available Monday through Friday with occasional overtime. Training is onsite and advancement opportunities exist as you master the basics.

Starting pay

Starting pay: $15 per hour (Dependent on experience plus potential increase after review period.)

Preferred

• Knowledge of roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles). Knowledge of these systems is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Past residential and/or commercial roofing or construction experience is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc
• Lift 50+ lbs
• Travel: Local and surrounding areas
