Tecta America New England is seeking a Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technician in Portland, ME. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, and PVC, under the Foreman’s direction.

We offer full-time, year-round work with growth opportunities, sign-on bonuses up to $1,500, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, and 401(k). You should have roofing experience or be willing to train, and be able to work outdoors

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs regularly, 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC).
• Assist Foreman and lead crew under supervision.
• Follow safety guidelines and job specifications.

Lead Service Technician Pay starting at $30+/hr. BOE

Experienced Pay starting at $25+/hr. BOE

SIGN-ON BONUS!!! Up to $1500!!!

This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, skills, training and experience. This position may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits and other forms of compensation.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Summary

Under the direction of the crew’s Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofing LeadService Tech Requirements

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
