Job summary

Tecta America New England in Bloomfield, CT is seeking Commercial Roofing Lead Service Technicians. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and repair of EPDM, TPO, and PVC roofing systems under the direction of the Foreman.

We offer full-time, year-round work with benefits and a sign-on bonus up to $1500. Candidates must be 18+, able to lift 25+ lbs regularly, and pass a background/drug screen.

Qualifications

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but training available.
• Must be able to lift 25+ lbs regularly and 50+ lbs occasionally.
• Work outdoors in varying weather; climb ladders.
• Follow safety guidelines and job specifications; maintain professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial roofing systems (EPDM, TPO, PVC).
• Lead the crew under Foreman supervision and ensure quality workmanship.
• Support safety practices and timely project completion.

Commercial Roofing Lead Service Tech Summary:

Under the direction of the crew's Foreman, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO & PVC.

Commercial Roofing LeadService Tech Requirements:

• Commercial roofing experience preferred but we will train the right individuals!
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs. regularly, 50+ lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in an outdoor setting, with varying weather conditions.
• Bending, kneeling, climbing ladders all expected activities.
• Ability to follow instructions, perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines, and maintain a strong level of professionalism.
• Reliable transportation to and from jobsites/warehouse.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.
• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting, etc.
• Travel: Mostly local; within 1 hour
