Job summary

RichSmith Management seeks a Full-time Service Technician for our Lake Charles, LA apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks, address service requests, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents.

HVAC/EPA certification preferred; 1 year of related maintenance experience; knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and be on-call for 24-hour maintenance.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA certification preferred.
• Experience in pool operation and maintenance is a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of related maintenance work experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
• On-call availability for 24-hour maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks for the property.
• Address service requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform pool care, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on building systems.

Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician, you will report to the Community Manager and be responsible for carrying out all maintenance tasks for the property. This includes addressing service requests promptly and efficiently, performing pool care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, and preventive maintenance on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

• HVAC or EPA certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in pool operation and maintenance is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, as well as competency in electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
• Availability for on-call duty related to our 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist into small areas.
• Capable of reaching overhead for extended periods, particularly during overhead repair work.
