Job summary

Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities in Ohio is seeking a full-time Service and Support Administrator (SSA). The SSA develops and coordinates person-centered service plans to promote self-determination and coordinates services for individuals and families, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local laws, and Board policies.

The successful candidate must have an associate degree (required for SSA certification); a bachelor’s degree is preferred with three years’ experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for SSA certification.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred with 3 years of experience coordinating services.
• Must obtain and maintain Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities SSA certification, plus First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate person-centered service plans that promote self-determination and individual choice.
• Assist individuals and families/guardians in identifying, accessing, and coordinating services and supports from various resources.
• Ensure services are delivered in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and Board policies.
