Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities invites applications for a SERVICE & SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR position in Ohio. The SSA serves as main contact, conducts assessments, develops Individual Service Plans, and advocates for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for SSA certification pursuant to OAC 5123:5-02.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Ability to work within a rotating scheduled 24 hour on-call availability.
• Ability to maintain current First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Serves as main point of contact for individuals and their team members and ensures person-centered planning.
• Completes assessments, evaluations, and other required documents.
• Develop, review, and revise Individual Service Plans using the OhioISP template and Individual Budgets.
• Assists individuals in the acquisition of resources and support.
• Acts as an advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families; assists them in representing themselves.
• Monitors the delivery of services and support.
• Provides support to all eligible individuals with developmental disabilities through the 24-hour crisis line, as assigned within departmental on-call rotation.
• Maintains caseload as assigned.
• Makes immediate referrals in order to ensure the health and safety of individuals.
