Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to supervise maintenance staff and ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and coordinate make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, vendor scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring high-quality workmanship across all areas of the community. A strong focus on resident service and budget-conscious maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA HVAC Type I/II or Universal certification required if working on sealed HVAC systems.
• Must have valid driver’s license for on-property mobility.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and diagnose resident service requests and perform repairs per policy and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas to Greystar quality standards.
• Monitor contractors and ensure work meets quality and budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools and assist with budget planning.
• Conduct safety meetings and stay current with OSHA and safety regulations.
