Job summary

Secureshield Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to cover the North of England within the Small Works Team. You will work with the team to prioritise and complete jobs, compile reports and handover certificates, and maintain strong client relationships.

A strong focus on safety and confidentiality is essential across site work. You should have experience with Fire Alarm and Security Systems, hold a qualified engineer status, and possess a full UK driving licence.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to work across North of England in the Small Works Team.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will work closely with the Small Works team, ensuring their time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised and completed correctly while compiling work reports and handover certificates. You will provide excellent service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external clients, establishing and maintaining effective relationships. You will also maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with company policy and procedures, whilst also ensuring client confidentiality is maintained.

Experience

• Experience working with Fire Alarm and Security Systems
• Qualified Fire & Security Engineer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimum supervision.
• Strong ability to prioritise workload and anticipate the needs of the client.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
• Experience and certification with leading integrated Fire & Security systems, with an understanding of networking
• Hold a valid ECS / CSCS card to enable site work. Preferred but not essential
• Hold an IPAF & PASMA certificate/card. Preferred but not essential
• Hold a full UK driving license. (Essential)
