Job summary

California Truck Centers is seeking a Shop Foreman at Keyes Truck Center in Keyes, CA 95328. This role leads service technicians, assigns work, and steers daily shop operations to ensure quality repairs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, monitoring productivity, authorizing complex repairs, and ensuring accurate paperwork and warranty handling. A high school diploma is required with 3+ years in diesel/heavy equipment repair and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• Experience/Training – Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel engine or heavy-duty equipment repair
• Experience/Training – Minimum 3 years of experience leading or supervising employees.
• Experience/Training – Cummins engine experience or certification.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.

Job Location: Keyes Truck Center - KEYES, CA 95328, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $30.00 - $43.00 Hourly, Job Category: Automotive.

The Shop Foreman directly supervises service technicians, including assigning work, coaching performance, and overseeing daily shop operations. They are responsible for overseeing all technicians performing internal repair and service work in the facility. This position provides day-to-day leadership, technical guidance, and quality control to ensure efficient operations, adherence to safety and company standards, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Cummins engine experience or certification.
• ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer training.
