Job Title: Service Sales Representative
Location: Atlanta, GA
Position Summary:
As a Service Sales Representative (SSR), the incumbent will work in an assigned territory and partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office/Service Center Managers & SSRs, Parts, and Technicians. The SSR will develop and maintain customer relationships to sell preventative maintenance contracts, service and repair work on HVAC products, and new products or projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Sales Planning and Analysis: Directs sales planning and analyzes competitive products and selling techniques, including marketing legislation, sales budgets, quotas, pricing, and distribution. Verifies prices and provides product descriptions based on available data, using company pricing lists and related information.
- Customer Development: Maintains contact with major accounts within the territory and develops a pipeline of future sales opportunities.
- Sales Proposals: Prepares sales proposals, including cost estimates and pricing quotations on new work. Coordinates the preparation of cost estimates on project consultations.
- Product Testing and Surveys: Performs tests and conducts surveys on competitive products to determine the need for product alterations or new product development.
- Tools and Resources: Identifies and implements tools and resources, such as energy rebates, to assist in sales efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Experience in the commercial HVAC industry and with competitors.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to travel 2-3 times per week locally.

- Experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts.
