Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver to service client locations Monday through Friday. The role involves loading, delivering, stocking, and maintaining refrigeration of products, with a focus on customer service and accurate inventory control.

Eligible candidates should be at least 21, possess a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), pass the DOT physical, and demonstrate strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a vehicle and interact with customers professionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products for client locations.
• Transport products to client locations and ensure proper refrigeration.
• Stock shelves and manage merchandise inventory at accounts.
• Collect payments from machines and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain company vehicle and sanitation of machines at accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accountsli>
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
