Job summary

West Shore Home, based in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking a Service Purchasing Specialist to join our onsite team. The role supports order processing and cross-department collaboration to ensure accurate, timely service orders while meeting KPIs.

The position reports to the Service Purchasing Manager and collaborates with Customer Service, Installation Managers, and the Regional Operations Team to drive a quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly detail-oriented with superior organization skills.
• Self-starter who works independently on daily tasks.
• Ability to maintain steady pace while performing repetitive work.
• Must have a valid smart phone to log in to company systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Proficient knowledge in building and manipulating Sales Orders and Purchase Orders to reflect proper allocation of products.
• Develop relationships with vendors, request changes, cancellations, and updates on orders as necessary.
• Advise Customer Service Representatives, Sales Managers, Installation Managers, and General Managers of customer product, when requested.
• Process service orders, including all related ancillary tasks, accurately and efficiently to meet KPIs.
• Proficient knowledge in building and manipulating Sales Orders and Purchase Orders to reflect proper allocation of products.

The Service Specialist I reports to the Service Purchasing Manager and collaborates closely with the Customer Service Department, Installation Managers, and Regional Operations Team. This role is responsible for facilitating cross-department communication to ensure they can process orders accurately, efficiently, and timely to drive a quality customer experience.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Proficient knowledge in building and manipulating Sales Orders and Purchase Orders to reflect proper allocation of products.
• Develop relationships with vendors, request changes, cancelations, and updates on orders as necessary.
• Advise Customer Service Representatives, Sales Managers, Installation Managers, and General Managers of customer product, when requested.
• Process service orders, including all related ancillary tasks, accurately and efficiently to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including accuracy targets established by the Service Purchasing Manager.
• Proficient knowledge in building and manipulating Sales Orders and Purchase Orders to reflect proper allocation of products.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly detail-oriented person with superior organization skills.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working independently on assigned daily tasks.
• Ability to work at a steady pace while performing repetitive work.
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device to log in to Company required systems using two-factor authentication.

Compensation

• The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.75 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
