• Trade or secondary school education
• Manufacture’s training on commercial HVAC equipment

Position Overview:

• Experienced service project technician performing HVAC/R mechanic work, including installation of various commercial HVAC/R systems
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components
• Includes installation and startup of HVAC systems
• Competent in electrical safety procedures
• Knowledge of hydronic systems
• Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic and testing equipment, and computers
• Skilled in brazing and soldering
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and electrical troubleshooting
• Capable of assessing risk and using appropriate PPE
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team of 2-3 technicians
• Accurate documentation of hours, materials, and tasks daily
• Adherence to company policies and procedures
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with customers regarding project status
• Computer skills are a plus; DDC controls experience is a plus but not required
• Universal EPA certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in HVAC mechanical equipment service industry
• Full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek and periodic overtime as needed
• Company-provided truck, cell phone, iPad, uniforms, and tools for business use
