Job summary

Lexus of Serramonte, part of Sonic Automotive, is seeking a Service Porter in Colma, CA to support the Service Department. The role involves moving, maintaining, and presenting vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety focus.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in automotive dealership, valet, porter or customer service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and direct vehicles to service areas.
• Transport vehicles safely around the service drive, lot, and dealership property.
• Maintain cleanliness of service lanes, parking areas, waiting areas.
• Assist service advisors and technicians by locating, staging, and delivering vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle prep: wash, vacuum, fueling, inspection before delivery.
• Monitor lot organization and designate proper parking.
• Follow safety policies while delivering professional customer service.
