The Service Porter at Bomnin Automotive plays a key role in ensuring smooth operation of the service department. This position involves assisting customers, maintaining the service area’s cleanliness, and supporting service advisors and technicians.

Driving is an essential function; the candidate must safely operate motor vehicles, hold a valid license, and meet company driving eligibility requirements while contributing to a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely and independently operate a motor vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to take a skill evaluation assessment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers professionally and courteously.
• Escort customers to the service waiting area and provide information about service procedures.
• Safely move vehicles within the service area and to designated parking spots.
• Coordinate vehicle retrieval and delivery with service advisors and technicians.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the service department's parking lot.
• Monitor and manage available parking spaces for customer and team vehicles.
• Assist service advisors by checking in customer vehicles and creating repair orders.
• Maintain records of vehicles checked in and out of the service department.
• Conduct basic inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles and report issues.
