Job summary

Vallejo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Vallejo, CA, is seeking a reliable Service Porter to support the service department’s daily operations. You will move vehicles, keep the service lane organized, and help advisors and technicians with staging and flow.

This role requires someone who stays busy, can multitask, and works well outdoors on their feet. Prior porter or dealership experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles (preferred).
• Previous dealership or porter experience is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to lift, walk, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the service drive, lot, and shop.
• Maintain organization of the service lane and parking areas at all times.
• Assist advisors and technicians with vehicle staging and flow.
• Perform vehicle check-ins and basic walkarounds when needed.
• Keep the service drive clean, presentable, and customer-ready at all times.
• Wash vehicles and ensure they are clean prior to delivery.
• Manage key control and vehicle tracking.
• Assist with shuttle coordination and customer transportation needs.
• Support parts and service teams with pickups, deliveries, and internal requests.
• Monitor lot conditions and report any damages or issues immediately.
• Handle multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies.

Vallejo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a fast-paced, high-volume dealership focused on efficiency, accountability, and customer service. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Service Porter who understands that this role is critical to the daily success of our service department.

Position Overview

This is not an entry-level “easy” position—this role requires someone who can handle a high level of responsibility, multitask consistently, and stay on top of a long list of daily duties. The right candidate takes pride in staying busy, being organized, and keeping operations moving without being asked.

Key Responsibilities

• Move vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the service drive, lot, and shop
