Job summary

South Pointe Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive, is adding a Service Porter to our team. You will drive vehicles to service areas, keep the lot organized, and assist with customer transportation and vehicle pickup after service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license with good driving record required.
• Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drive dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated spots and service area.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service completion.
• Maintain lot order and keep vehicle lots neat and organized.
• Provide transportation for customers and ensure safe traffic flow in service lots.
• Follow all safety policies and report any accidents to management.
• Demonstrate adherence to company values in all interactions.
• Assist with timely and professional pickup and delivery of vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

South Pointe Hondais part of fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add qualified SERVICE PORTER to our team.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed
• Maintain lot order
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management
• Provides transportation for customers
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager
• Other duties may be assigned by management
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
• Responsible for performing timely and professional pickup and delivery of vehicles

Qualifications

• Ability to operate both standard and automotic vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
