Job summary

Victory Automotive Group is seeking a friendly Service Porter for the Honda Automotive Service department in Ann Arbor. You will greet customers, move vehicles, and support the Service Advisors while maintaining a clean, orderly lot.

The role requires an unrestricted driver's license, a professional appearance, and the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. You will drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Professional and dependable with strong customer service.
• Safety- and service-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer and internet skills.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.
• Ability to read and follow instructions; physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Installs disposable protective coverings (seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, etc.) and tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
• Delivers keys and repair order to the appropriate Service Advisor after parking vehicle.
• Retrieves vehicles for customers and thanks them for their business.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are currently looking for an outgoing and dependable individual to greet our valued customers arriving at our service department!

The Service Porter will welcome customers and ensure a smooth transition to a Service Advisor. In addition, they will move customer vehicles in and around the lot and service areas, ensure vehicles are kept in a clean and damage-free manner, and help with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas.

The ideal candidate has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record, a positive attitude and professional appearance. Candidates must be willing and able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and should be able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
