Job summary

South Pointe Honda, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a qualified Service Porter to support our service operations. You will drive vehicles to service areas, assist with vehicle movement, and help keep lots organized and clean.

Responsibilities include transporting customers and vehicles, following safety policies, and performing additional duties as needed. A valid license and clean driving record are required; high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with a clean driving record in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Move dealership and customer vehicles to and from service areas and parking lots.
• Perform general cleanup of vehicles after service work.
• Maintain neat vehicle lots and assist with customer transportation.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

South Pointe Hondais part of fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add qualified SERVICE PORTER to our team.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed
• Maintain lot order
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management
• Provides transportation for customers
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager
• Other duties may be assigned by management
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
• Responsible for performing timely and professional pickup and delivery of vehicles

Qualifications

• Ability to operate both standard and automotic vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
